Everyone at AYSO is a volunteer.
In the American Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO), the roles of the Area Staff and the Region are distinct but complementary.
Our Kuleana
Oversight and Coordination: The Area Staff, led by the Area Director, oversees multiple Regions within the Central, North, and West Oahu area.
They ensure that the Regions operate smoothly and adhere to AYSO’s policies and guidelines.
Pono” is a Hawaiian word, often translated as “righteousness”, "moral integrity" or doing the right thing!.
We are working to create a nurturing and ethical environment that helps young athletes
grow into well-rounded individuals who value fairness, respect, and community.
